Blog Review: Heavy Rock Spectacular

Heave Rock Spectacular is a cool blog I came across today that covers in the words of the authors "heavy progressive rock, hard rock & heavy psychedelic rock of late '60s - early '70s." The site has a lot of free downloads including entire music albums (including Agni's WDWF) as well as ebooks about music. Do check it out!

Indian Bandstand: Indian Rock Music History in Photographs

Day before yesterday, while searching for the whereabouts of the members of Millennium, Riff found this blog called Indian Bandstand written by a person who calls himself Adamji and who played in a band called Pulse with Sandeep Chowta. Adamji's blog is a treasure trove of photographs of the veterans of the Indian rock music scene. It contains many early photographs of Millennium, Agni, TAAQ as well as Aftermath (Philipe and DK - the guitarist and drummer from Aftermath - now play in a band called Ministry of Blues), as well as a lot of information about those bands. Download Agni's Mrityunjaya Album for Free

When we met Koko recently in Pune (photo here), he suggested we put up Agni's second album Mrityunjaya on our site for free download as well. Ross had given us an autographed copy of the album, while we were in Pune. So we decided to take up Koko's suggestion and are happy to announce that you can download all the tracks from Mrityunjaya for free. All tracks are MP3s encoded at 192kbps. We hope you download and listen to all the tracks.
