When we met Koko recently in Pune (photo here), he suggested we put up Agni's second album Mrityunjaya on our site for free download as well. Ross had given us an autographed copy of the album, while we were in Pune. So we decided to take up Koko's suggestion and are happy to announce that you can download all the tracks from Mrityunjaya for free. All tracks are MP3s encoded at 192kbps. We hope you download and listen to all the tracks.
Indie Music Search
Ever wondered how nice it would be if only you could type a name of an Indian rock band and all the relevant results would show up? Type in the name of an Indian rock or metal album and it would list a review of that album posted on RSJ? Well the time has come to stop wondering and start searching...
We now have a created a custom search engine using Google Co-op that will search sites devoted to Independent music from India. While we've currently added only a handful of site, we'll soon be adding more such sites.
We hope you'll find the feature useful.

A decade in waiting ...
Whoa ...
Last weekend was such a happy occasion for me for many reasons. One, I was in Pune visiting my cousin with my parents. Two, I was gonna meet Satchit after one year almost. And three, Satchit and me were scheduled to meet directly at a gig organised at this place called "Elysian Lawns"... three bands "Medusa", "Brute Force" and "Vayu". More importantly, we were gonna meet up with Kaustubh ("Koko" as he is known by the most part of the planet)!! All thanks to Satchit and his incessant calling and trying to get in touch with Agni's Killer Ogre with the toothpick ...
People ... I cannot express how glad I was to meet a person who was such a massive influence on my life of music ... and although we didn't speak with Koko very extensively, we did get a pic, the pick and some autographs for our autographed copies of "Wind Dance With Fire" and the cover of my Agni WDWF tape, which I had been holding on to for a little more than ten full years!! Agni has been a very big part of my listening and playing experience and this was postively the best thing that happened since a long time (probably the first after the Odyssey tour!!) ... I was kinda lost for words for the most part ... but I dont regret it that much ... just being there at the show with Satchit and meeting Kaustubh was good enough for me!! I hope we get to do this more often!!!!!!!
And damn that beer guy .... whattarippppofffff!!
